Quick Directions to Timothy

• take Hwy 97 north, just barely in to the village of Lac La Hache
• turn right on Timothy Lake Road, just before the Hungry Bear Restaurant, following signs to Timothy Lake (and Timothy Ski Hill).
• approx 22km in total to go to the house
• from here on, basically no cel-coverage at all
• allow 20min
• pavement the whole way; if you get onto gravel, something's wrong
• after 11km, there is a fork in the road (left to Rail Lake, right to Timothy). Stay right, towards Timothy Lake / Timothy Ski Hill. This is ~1/2 way.
• stay right at the turn up Timothy mountain to the ski-hill. This occurs *just* after the Greeny Lake Forestry Campsite (where you will probably see a few RV's).
• at first end of Timothy Lake itself, you pass the Timothy Lake Resort, then...
• watch for Marten's Resort. Your destination is just past Marten's:
• first power-line crossing the road, past Marten's
• power-line to house comes off of Hydro Pole 193 (yellow plastic sleeve on guy wire)
• about 1/4 mile beyond Marten's Resort
• drive down a 500ft smooth/graded gravel driveway, with large turn-around and gravelled parking at the house. If the driveway is rough or has stumps - it's not the right one!
